Our new company TANDEM Rieck Global Logistics (TRGL) was launched in October 2023. In addition to Shanghai, we opened branches in Guangzhou, Kunshan, Ningbo, Qingdao, Shenzhen, Tianjin and Xiamen. The declared goal: to expand local services and drive forward our global orientation.
The service portfolio covers the entire supply chain: Transport by road, air or sea; national or global, warehouse logistics and fulfillment as well as customs services. The new website was launched in January to present the range of services transparently. "Currently, demand for air and sea transportation services is particularly high - especially on the trade routes between China and Europe, the United States and Southeast Asia," explains Jecy Shen, Managing Director. Increasing volumes are being handled via the Frankfurt air hub. TRGL not only offers consolidation services here, but has also secured fixed freight capacities to Shanghai.
Nationally in demand, internationally networked
The key industries of our more than 300 customers include manufacturing, retail and e-commerce. "These industries require flexible and global logistics solutions," explains Jecy Shen. "Thanks to the TANDEM network, we can deliver exactly that."
The cooperation with P. T. Karya Mulia Logistic in Indonesia was further expanded in order to be able to handle the increasing export of fast-moving consumer goods and industrial products from China to Indonesia. Overall, the whole of South East Asia and South America are experiencing rapid economic development, which means that the need for flexible logistics solutions is growing. TRGL therefore has these regions firmly in its sights. The focus is also on expanding digital and sustainable logistics services.
"Markets and goods flows are currently undergoing major changes," summarizes Jecy Shen. “We are closely monitoring the changes in the global economic and political environment and adapting our services for our customers accordingly.”
