The walking floor semitrailer is a "hit" at the site. It can be loaded from above and behind. The electrically movable slatted floor brings the transported goods to the desired position in the truck. This means that not only waste of all kinds can be optimally loaded and transported, but also forwarding goods with very different characteristics such as piece goods and bulk goods, partial or complete batches.
With its flexibility, the walking floor articulated lorry is emblematic of our team from Neuss: excellently equipped for a wide variety of tasks. Just waste management? That was yesterday! Today we offer a compact service from a single source.
Deliver ...
Having started out as a certified waste management company, the demand for conventional transportation has steadily increased. A separate department for classic logistics and forwarding tasks was therefore established in 2016. Department manager Nadine Möller - who started her Rieck career as an apprentice in 2004 - set up the new department with two colleagues. They were soon joined by a trainee and a dispatcher. Two drivers and a new trainee now complete the team.
The eight-strong department organizes and plans the transport of commercial and industrial goods around the globe. They fill the shelves of supermarket chains or ensure replenishment in production. Whether goods on a pallet or an entire truck - they keep an eye on every shipment and special trip across Europe and around the world.
"A dedicated team and a high-quality fleet of vehicles - this gives us the necessary expertise and equipment for high-performance logistics solutions," explains Nadine Möller. "An additional plus is the close cooperation with the entire Rieck Group, for example in global air and sea freight transportation."
... and storage
To complete the one-stop shopping experience in Neuss, individual storage facilities can be rented in our own building. Temporary or long-term storage of inventory, industrial goods or merchandise is possible here. "We grow with our tasks," summarizes Nadine Möller. "And the general rule is: there's no such thing as impossible!"
