Where do we stand - what is going well, what could be better? What are we passionate about? And where do we want to go, what vision are we following? As a modern company, the Rieck Logistics Group not only wants to become better and better for its customers, it also wants to "revamp" itself internally.
The basis for this change process was an extensive employee survey, in which around half of the workforce took part. Building on this, Rieck launched the Fit For Future project in 2020 - a transformation journey into a strong future that involves everyone in the company.
Getting better together
Rieck has set itself ambitious goals: Increasing employee satisfaction, establishing a better feedback culture and practicing more communication and transparency at all levels are just some of the formulated targets.
In order to achieve all of this, Rieck is currently implementing a whole package of measures: workshops, training and coaching not only for managers, the targeted expansion of the HR department, a new communication culture across all hierarchical levels, the preparation of a handbook for (new) colleagues, and so on and so forth.
It starts
Of course, all these steps take time. However, Rieck's top management is confident that the first successes of the Fit for Future program will be visible in a survey of colleagues as early as mid-2022. "The path to a new corporate culture doesn't happen overnight," says Philipp Strenge, Managing Partner of the Rieck Logistics Group. "But once the first step has been taken, the journey has already begun."
